As for the John Peel CD, i think the Bonkers thing on it was just a marketing Ploy, since it was Hixxy & Sharkey that did the mix live on the radio, it isnt "cannon" to the series in anyway, I got my copy for free from my mate in React (when it was React) hehe..
When React changed to Resist, they re-issued every bonkers title that was released on Resist. some of the artwork was changed for the albums covers aswell as the cardboard sleeve, Mosy notably Bonkers The Rezurection had and 8 slapped on it, the cd covers also were changed to have flames in the background englufing the DJ Heads, rather than just a circle with the head inside it.
Yeh about a year and a half ago i had to re-buy bonkers 4 cause my dougal mix was broke,and the cds were just plain but in my first copy they were designed like footballs keeping with the world cup theme

i only bought the re-issues of bonkers 1 & 2, and that a mistake the artwork is all screwed up and they made extra editions to the discs. (the purple on bonkers was really bright and tacky looking also they added stars to the discs) But i eventually got original copies of the first two. I suppose the only decent thing about the re-issue is that the tracks are split on 2
considering all my early bonkers albums (3-8) are original releases and pre-owned i think their holding up pretty well, but i dont play them alot, i got into a habit of ripping them to my HD and playing them files.
that totally sucks that they ****ed around with the discs on 4, i thought they were pretty awesome with the footy theme.
