I was going to type out a big speech about what my country means to me on such a beautiful holiday....

but i can't lie to you guys.

honestly what i feel right now is that it's 11 am, i'm not drunk, and i havent consumed any prawns or snags... i feel like i'm disgracing my country.

I emplore you all to have a drink on me to celebrate A'straya.

Now excuse me, i have a barbie and beers waitin on me!

My cousins, who emigrated to Oz years ago, suggested that I should consider it as well and sent me an application form.

One of the questions asked if I had a criminal record....

....which really surprised me!

I didn't know you still needed one.

YAYA.

How hot was it???

Spent the day in Centennial Park listening to the hottest 100. I don't think spot we were sitting in ever got ABOVE about 27-28 degrees. Move 20 metres in any direction and the temp increased by 5-10 degrees. And that was still in the shade. Move out into the sun and it was friggen roasting. Went down to Coogee after that finished.

I was sick and so didn't drink a drop. Still had a few steaks though.

Yeah dude it was so hot. I was at a mate's place with about 20 other people so we were in the pool most of the day because if you weren't you pretty much died.
