I just tried to upload a mix onto soundcloud, the first time I have used soundcloud. I think there is about 14 songs in my mix, it uploaded ok but then I got a email saying they couldnt put it on site because it had a wideboys remix of black eyed peas dirty bit and it has been made inaccessible on soundcloud by the request of the rightsholder. can you not put certain songs on? Im gutted its a quality mix

Copyright issue then, what you could do is re-do the mix and replace the troublesome track with another one.

found out off other forums that aparently there is loads of peoples mixes being taken off or refused upload because the big bad stupid record labels are saying they cant upload them if they aint got permission. totally stupid as I aint making any money off it and other people cant download my mix. grr grr grr

you may think it's stupid but it is within their legal rights to do so. and that's not just the big labels, the laws apply to lesser known ones as well. just upload the mix on another site such as mediafire or sendspace and share the link
