Has anyone else heard of this? I'm so worried I'm becoming one of these people. I've had attraction to people before, but now, I just don't seem to find anyone attractive(I did just get out of a 6 month relationship 2 weeks ago), and I'm starting to get worried.

no.
asexual reproduction means the creature (animal or tree) is self reproducing. It happens almost exclusively in bacteria, can also occasionally happen in sharks or turkeys(!) as well as a few plant forms.
No I have never heard of an asexual human.

6 months isn't particularly special, somewhat underwhelming tbh, but depending on how you personally react in break-ups, various chemicals being produced in your head could be giving you all sorts of ****ed up messages. Give it time.

if ur issues w/ that relationship are still unresolved, then you might not be able to be fully committed into finding another relationship and/or attraction to another person until they are resolved.
and lilley is right there isn't a such thing as a genuine "asexual" human seeing as asexual means you reproduce w/o any sexual activity, but how ppl use to define themselves as asexual these days is not having a sexual attraction to either genders. skimming thru some info online it seems like something that most ppl claim they're born w/ or develop at an early age, not the effect of a previous relationship
i'm sure you'll be alright in no time and if not, there are pills to help u get it up

This.
It happens to us all Justin, when you get out of a relationship or get hurt sometimes you feel like you'll never want anyone again, or like you'll never find anyone again but you will over time. It's just a grieving process following the end of the relationship.

Doesn't mean a human that reproduces on it's own, but rather a human that isn't sexually attracted to anyone, or doesn't have the desire to have sex. I'm pretty sure it's not something you can become though, I assume like other forms of sexuality you are born that way.

Sorry, but Wikipedia thinks otherwise :p
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asexuality edit: of course, I'm talking about asexual as a sexual orientation, or rather lack thereof, not reproduction :p

Yeah considering he just broke up with someone i would say that that is a no brainer. When long enough has passed that you no longer care then that is a different story.

awesome, learn something new everyday - and no, never met anyone like that
also - why be "worried" about what you are? i mean, fair enough be worried if you have swine flu, or be worried if you had a chronic lust for drink petrol...
but to be worried of what someone "is" thats just silly, you are what you are, you have to live with yourself - so get used to it!..learn to love yourself and take advantage of who you are etc etc :)
just go with the flow, if you are you are, if you arent...well, i'm sure one way or another you'll eventually find out!

If you genuinly were a-sexual it wouldn't be all that bad. Sex only causes problems.
