It does sound very early. It also suffering majorly from youtube compression (or a tape rip).

Makina? Sounds nothing like it to me. It's essentially (well no, it IS) Hardstyle (but gets cheesier as the song goes on)/Hard Trance but at a faster pace. Good tune but would sound better slower!

the first 80 seconds are basicly just an intro, the track itself (the part i consider makina) kicks in at 80-90 seconds.

and just like british happy hardcore evolved, so does/did makina
