Was just wondering is wavelength worth spending that extra money on when downloading? Does it sound a lot better than mp3s? A friend was telling me you get alot more bass with wave length and a thicker type sound. Is this true?

what?
It's just called Wave, but anyways. Yes, an Wave has alot better quality than MP3 or MP4/AAC. Usually MP3's doesn't cut much of the bass (compared to the rest of the audio-structure), so I can't see how he thinks a wave sounds bassier.
You could say that Wave has the same quality as a CD.

You mean .WAV file extension not wavelength, they are two totally different things
If you want to be anal about it then yeah get wav instead of MP3. Their is a difference between wav and MP3 because wav is uncompressed and MP3 is a compressed version. You do loose some sound quality from wav to 320kbps MP3 but not so much as it's noticeable to most folk.

If you play in clubs then a 320 mp3 is more than fine. I dont know anyone in a nightclub who can stand there and pick wether the track is a wav or an mp3. Hardcore sounds that crap on nightclub sound systems it really doesnt matter

big up. so many good tunes murdered by club soundsystems, I don't know what they're doing wrong but even in club AIR (Where they hold Raverbaby and sometimes HTID) it just sounds like you're in a room of bass and you have to really struggle to hear the vocals/pianos/whatever over constant rumbling and distortion from the subs.
that said to be honest old skool rarely seems to have that problem, some upfront tunes sound fine too, dunno if it's a result of production or what to be honest.
