Will take a listen soon man, but first - how on earth did you manage to get one of the accounts (they're called Partner Accounts or something, aren't they?) that allows you to upload lengthy videos?

it comes after youre being a member 4 a while. not sure what it actually depends of. im not a partner but i can do that 2. =)

Extended uploads have been enabled for accounts without strikes. To check, click the upload button and read the prompt, telling you whether or not you're eligible.
Anyone else going to flood YouTube with DJ videos now that you can do this? lmao

if u upload a video with copyright or "improper" content, and you get sued, you get 1 youtube strike. it hasnt always been done for copyright problems, but that can be bad too.

Might as well check! I actually got a Sean Kingston Deadmau5 video get ads attached and not available in several European countries, but I retained my upload ability.
Also, you don't get sued, at best videos get taken down. ;)

As far as I know, this depends on your Channel "type", don't remember where you can choose that now as the design has changed again, but there are several different account types like "musician", "director", "actor" etc etc and each one has got its own settings. I remember when you used to change your account type some years ago, everything was reset, but it's probably not the case anymore. But good to know the thing with being sued etc didn't know that!
Will listen to the mix when I find some time! To avoid this forum of becoming "deserted" :)
Mate, do you think you could make your mix available for download on your SoundCloud page? I can never get around to listening to it just sat in front of YouTube on my laptop. If I can download it, I can whack it on my iPod and go for a wander.

Yeah, my account is a normal 'YouTuber' account, and I just changed it to Musician two days ago. I've been uploading hour-longs for a month. ;)

I've never actually take drastic action against anything music-related, unless the song isn't out yet, the music video is porn, or you claimed it as your own.
But this was obviously after the big Viacom-YouTube sweep of 4 years ago.
