Yeah same here. B15 was the first hardcore compilation I came across. Have to admit it didn't tickle me fancy at first, but it grew on me.

i agree! i've heard the mini-gabber mixes at the end of SB's cds of bonkers, and never really liked them that much

but something about him & neophyte on that cd made that whole mix amazing!

what i love about gabber is that it isn't affected by other genres, through the test of time, it's just done it's own thing. For instance, we don't here any dubstep influences or Rhianna remixes or similar rubbish. Normal hardcore has gone a bit stale for me.

don't be so quick to say that. You never know what a genre will do to survive if it comes to it.

yeah but do u really think lets say justin bieber...wud his songs sound good if a gabber remix was ever produced lol gabber aint ever really bin about that n i think 99.9% of gabber producers wud either let the genre die or go back underground as the tune goes HAPPEEEE...IS FOR HOBOS lmao

You seem to be forgetting that 'Gabber' (or just Hardcore as the rest of Europe calls it) is incredibly mainstream, far more so than UK Hardcore is here.
