In both bad and good ways.
Good:
* Brisk & Vagabond - In Control. I was expecting a mindless "partycore" tune. Then 2:16 happened, which lead to a really nice melody and beat. So then I'm thinking "it will build this up then go back to the party stuff." But no! It kept going with it! Hell yeah!
* Brisk & Fade - To My Beat. Same here. I love the breakdown and release. I hope that someday someone will do a remix of this that expands on that nice section.
* Darwin vs Cube::Hard - Under Pressure (I Can't Take It). I wasn't expecting anything special until the breakdown hit. If you've heard it, you WILL know what I mean.
* Weaver - Club Crashing. The fact that it sampled To The Club was an instant turn-off, although I can't lie, I like the melody it has.
* Druid & Trixxy - E-Motion. Same case as Under Pressure. It's SO GOOD.
Bad:
* Darwin & Obie - Oiiii. A really lush, awesome breakdown that raised my hopes greatly... followed by it reverting back to mindlessness.
* Marc Smith - Let It Him 'Em. Same as above. If you haven't already deduced it, I hate it when artists do this.
* Douglas Feat. Rhona - FM220. Oh how I wish that breakdown with the nice pads + melody and Rhona singing lasted longer, or went onto an awesome release. Still a good tune regardless.
* Sharkey - Bang Like A Mother. The fact that this never got a full release makes me a bitter old man.
