What's real hardcore from your point of view? I am really curious!

You can write specific tunes or link them here.

I prefer stuff like CLSM, Cube::Hard, Brisk and some other bouncy stuff. I bet you've heard them.

By "real" you mean "good", right?

Yeah, I was using "real" as ppl tend so say "this is fake hardcore etc" (I generalised a lot here).

I've heard a lot of Omar Santana tunes and most of them are real slammers!

I think he's complaining about pigeonholing.

My general requirement for hardcore (or any music really) is that at least some thought and effort has gone into it.

Real hardcore for me is fun. That's the reason I latched onto it and that's the reason I stick with it. The music, the people, even the artwork for the records was fun. Sadly it's not that way much any more as it's now more of a business than it used to be.

Hardcore Music for me is EXCITEMENT, EMOTION and ENERGY all mixed down into a track it is the expression of all these emotions through capsules of sounds and harmony which sets our minds free!
