definitely would have to put Get Ready For This by 2 Unlimited, mainly because it was one of the few electronic/dance tracks to chart in the US. how the hell was that track not even on his list???
here's the vocal version. i don't believe this version had a video release. if it did, it's not on youtube
Either that track or No Limits (which had more international success), but the duo deserves a track on that list

ouch dude, thats a tough question! just a top 10?
can i at least do it in no particular order, and without mentioning artists twice...i've put in timecodes so it will skip to the "main" bits of the song - but all songs which I think should be in everyones dance artillery! if you havent heard one, give it a click and a listen, hopefully you wont be disapointed! (thought i expect most in the UK will have heard them as they were/are played on the radio)
and to finish off...not stricty dance, really falls under the chillout/ambient/alectronica but it requires a place here i think.. Future Sound Of London - Papua New Guinea
didnt want to get too much into the chillout/ambient selection, cause that opens up a retardedly large can of worms! :)
this thread actually made me feel a bit better given recent events, hearing these classics, thankyou..
hmm, my fairly tainted preferences, picked off top of my head. I'll probably regret this later when I think of others.
Sunscreem - Please Save Me
Veracocha - Carte Blanch
Insomnia - Faithless
Take me away - 4 strings
Damaged - Plummet
Chase the Sun - Planet Funk
My Favourite Game - Cardigans
Second Trip - Hennes & Cold
Something by Tracid, not to particular
Back to Earth - Cosmic Gate

you're going to have to start talking very fast to explain why electronic can't be pop and what electronic dance music is exactly

well i don't have an exact explanation of what classifies as electronic dance music i just can tell from my personal experience of listening to it over many years.
and i know that cardigans isn't anything close to electronic dance music. even discogs classifies it as pop rock

theres are going to be a few crossover's no harm there...if its dancey enough and someone feels it should be in the top 10, then i dont see why not - hense why I sliped a chillout/ambient track in the last one of mine!
Rico Bernasconi Vs. DJs From Mars - Luv 2 Like It (DJ Mars Human FM Mix)
For all the mathematic freaks out there: YES, i posted 11 tracks. I put up the last song only, because this one was produced in 2010!!! I hardly believed my ears, when I was listening to it being played on a normal radio station for the first time. It certainly has the 90's spirit.
