I know its the easiest thing to do for most of you on here, but I've never ever done it and would like to try to burn the NRBC mix for my car!

Put a blank CD in, and you should then get a list pop up in a box with options - hopefully 'copy files to cd' should be on there.
Then you should be able to select what you want on the CD (providing you have a writeable drive)!

Yep, CD-R is what you need mate.
If you put a blankcd in, either the options box should come up or nothing should happen.
Can you find the blank disc in 'my computer'?

easiest way, without having to download any new software is open windows media player & play what you want to burn, stop it, pop in a CDR & close the bloody pop up, go back to media player, click burn & on the right it will give you the option to burn 'now playing'
job done
just make sure the mix is less than 75 minutes long or it wont fit unless you burn it as mp3

Depending on the type of car you have (well depending on it's CD player) you can get InfraRecorder for free and burn a "data disc" onto the CD. The audio files have to be mp3, but this goes by storage amount not minutes. I can fit 50+ songs through data burning, or 12 as an audio disc.

what are you playing it on? a stereo cd player? car cd player? it could be possible that they can't read a data cd and you need to burn it as a music/audio cd.

I hate to say this but, just use itunes, lol. It makes it incredibly easy and gives the disc correct metadata so the song name shows up. When you download itunes, open it and put your music in it. Then make a playlist of what you want to burn and click the create disc/burn disc button at the bottom, VIOLA!
