he doesnt file share anymore. i actually know who it is. lol. i talk to him every few days. lol.
Good to know :)
lol I really don't want to start anything :)
I just wanted to see if I should continue to get the CDJs and Mixer.
You shouldnt need people to tell you if you should or shouldnt move to CDJs and a mixer. If you want to, go for it. At first you might not be all pro, but soon enough it will come.
I started out the same way you are right now.
But may i suggest moving to a midi controller before moving to CDJs. Becoming familiar with a controller before moving to something big. Get something like a Hercules MK4. It works with VDJ so it should be easy.
But yea. go for it!

Yeah it is a big step getting CDJs...but as long as I feel confident about it I should go for it.
The only thing I noticed is I will need a lot of spare time. Working full-time and trying to do this won't work. So I'm thinking I should go part-time at least...as long as I have the time I will work so hard on getting better. Mixing is constantly on my mind all the time so I think I'm doing the right thing here!
I'll see about the MIDI controller. I'm not too familiar with that >.>

If I may, if you ever plan on getting in production in the future, a good controller/keyboard is the M-Audio Axiom series. Personally I have an Axiom 61 (61 keys). It has the standard set; faders, knobs, pads...

I do plan. For now its confusing but I am familiar with it thanks to CLSM :P
It's really sexy 500 isn't in my budget if I'm buying the CDJS, Mixer and the HDJ-2000 headphones. I will keep the Axiom 61 in mind though and probably will buy it as I could use one haha
