Personally I don't understand why people rate NU NRG labels so highly. All sound the same. Hav'nt evolved at all with their productions. Even Next Gen and Blatant beats. Productions are great but nothing new done in their productions in the last 7 years.
At least the big big names like Hixxy, Recon, Gammer, Squad-e, Breeze, Joey Riot etc are starting to try new things in their productiopns like dubstep, techno and electro infuences.
Worst track I've heard is Darwins "I know where I stansd" no bass in the track what so ever. And dated gatecrasher trance productions.
Hardcore Underground stuff is ok. But still sounds dated a lot of it.
Why do think NU NRGS have never won best label award??? ITS MOSTLY SHIT!!!!
Best labels are always the finalists nominated or winning that category in the Hardcore awards. Labels like LETHAL THEORY, TWISTA, RAVER BABY, MUFFIN MUSIC etc..

And that's after wading through everything on Trackitdown. I guess that's what happens when you've just started listening to hardcore 2 years ago.
the trackitdown top 100 is abysmal. I've said it on facebook a few days ago, theres only about 5 decent songs on there.
GTYM are one of the labels I think are totally overrated. I cant stand that most of the tracks are just bootlegs, and that all their artists have jumped on the "minimal" hardcore bandwagon.
I advise looking back a few years and finding some music you might like. Look into buying Bonkers 13 or 14 off Amazon reasonably cheaply. That's my advice.
I dont have anything against the GTYM crew btw, that's just my opinion.

And no bass? What? If that amount of bass isn't enough for you, may I recommend that you buy a Genelec 7060B subwoofer and turn the software (and hardware if possible) bass EQ to maximum?

As far as hardcore goes this is probably one of my favorite songs that has a fistload of bass. I prefer it when the kicks were bit more defined and clear instead of just sounding like a noise flying around a club.
