it's all hardcore...
a candy is still candy regaurdless if it's cherry, grape, orange, apple ect right? why even bother with hardcore then? still the same thing.

no i'm pretty sure candy is an american word, of course we know what it means but we don't use it in the uk to describe sweets, toffees and chocolates unless we do it deliberately as an americanism

I started a new topic cause I felt I had somat to get across, is that alright on this discussion board?
Sorry forgot old Skool, I just call that old skool Hardcore or just old skool as well.
It helps if you've got a proper name for a type of music so everyone knows what you're talking about.

We are not the ones who decide what to call it, the event promotors, record labels and compilation album producers are the ones who decide what to call it, and right now they are calling it "UK Hardcore" or just "Hardcore". In fact it has mostly been this way since 98/99.
