so now i'm up for internal sales manager for the company that distributes sennheiser, dolby etc audio equipment all over australia.
I'll be managing my own team and when i got the call back they were ridiculously keen in getting me in for an interview.
So it's tomorrow at 10 am... this is ****ing ridiculous

wow that's great! early congrats a 3rd interview i'm sure you already have the job this is probably just tying up loose ends or brainstorming for your new job

nah this is the first interview for this job. But it's an interview just with the national sales manager... i cant imagine who else i'd interview with lol

Job market sounds pretty good over there. It's a mess here, as well as the numerous redundancies from the recession the retirement age has gone up and up so older workers are having to stay in work longer meaning no spaces for students and young people, which when you consider universities charging triple the amount of their original prices for courses that have been hit by cuts too so are now only half as good, that means a lot of young people without anywhere to go. And if you ARE an older person who has been made redundant it means you have to go on Job Seekers (the dole) and desperately try clinging onto your benefits and avoid homelessness while they try to take them away from you because you're not getting work when the reality is nobody will employ you because you're too old.
I dread to think what this country is going to be like in 5 years, so many students and young people trying to emigrate (myself included) god knows what it'll be like for those left behind.
Anyway yeah went off on one there, sounds good! I'd love to do a job that worked with audio stuff, nice that you're getting so many job opportunities.

Sounds like when I got called for an interview, then after I hung up with them Best Buy called me for an interview, and while I was on the phone for Best Buy someone else called and I didn't know. Then I had to call them back and it was an interview for another job.
But, I didn't get hired into any of them, and had to wait two more months until I actually got a job.

....oh yeh, another bit of advice.
Don't pick your nose during the interview
....and, in the event of failing to resist the urge,
under no circumstances be seen to stick the bogey under the interviewer's desk.
Stranger things have been known to happen. You have been warned!

wow that sux! so far i've gotten every job I've interviewed for in my life, but that's not saying much since none of them have had to do with my major lol or have been a real highpaying job
