Don't come to the UK then...easily 95% of ravers here are chavs. If I had nobody to go to raves with I wouldn't feel safe going on my own. I said it in another thread before but going to raver baby 17 was one of the scariest moments of my life. I only hover around london and the south coast, seems to be a bit less trouble free there.

lol dunno about that last bit, that pretty much sums up how I dance kind of, I just sort of spin and hop around like a lunatic.

I don't understand, why people use "Hakke" while listening to HHC or even Hardstyle (at least, if it's not passing 200 bpm). I mean it surely works for Gabba and faster stuff, but meh.

Dont be too harsh! It works allright for Gabba, the faster stuff and even for some Freeform. And the kicks are needed to interpret the omitted kicks, which are used in this genre very often.
Anyway, you should watch out and use them carefully before kick arses.
It's rude as well, if you stomp on someone's feet or shuffle into other persons.

yeah but im not talking "its awful" in general just in australia, Its like a plague.
they have to respect for others and they think that they the best.
They're just generally awful people.
especially at defqon, they are responsible for all the fights that break out.

Well, no difference to Gabba events here. This music is not meant for the PLUR feeling. Furthermore I think NekoShuffle mentioned the result of the mixture of alcohol and raves in this forum quite a couple of times. I have a different point of view, but can't doubt that there are a lot of drunken people arorund such events. Happens at the football stadium or a local fair, too.

Exactly!
Lots of drunken people in ANY situation eventually equals trouble. PLUR means nothing to most people, it's just an old tale i'll be able to tell my grandkids about in the future!

We never really had "PLUR" as a word though, it's always been an american/australian kinda thing. We've had "Love Peace Unity" which is sort of the same but yeah doesn't mean anything to most people nowadays either. I genuinely know loads of lovely ravers who would never start anything but it's always the select few that ruin it for the others.
One look at how the ravers reacted to HH Weekender being closed down is just like taking so many steps backwards when you think you've made progress. I wish the entire scene would change totally, it's silly having all these rude, violent aggressive people listening to what is probably one of the happiest genres of music you can find.
