Hi, theres a track that i really want identified and i would appreciate any guesses as to what it might be although i think it will be a challenge!
Unfortunately there are no vocals from what i remember which makes it harder. The track was from an old fusion mix tape from 1996 by druid and vibes. it was from the tape series with the exploding egg picture on the front. The mix also had "Promised land" and the krusty the clown sampling "Dream Factory". The track im after was played before or after the hardcore mix of "popcorn" and one thing i remember was MC Live lee repeating "1,2 1,2" over quite a simplistic melody.
Anyone have any ideas?

I think that's far too vague unfortunately. If you can grab a sample it'd be much easier.

I know it's vague but i was kinda hoping someone would still have the tape so they could listen to it and maybe identify it. Unfortunatley i no longer have the tape.

If anyone outthere has the druid and vibes b2b tape im on about i would really apprecite it if you could give it a listen and post a recording here or identify the tracks before and after Popcorn.

Lucky for you have a big Fusion collection but i don't know of one with an exploding egg. I do know of one with an exploding planet earth on it though & that dates from 25th May 96. It's Fusion 'A Match Made At Wembley'. Would this be the one? I know i have several sets from that event but all my tapes & tape packs are boxed up. If you give me a day or 2 i'll have a look for ya.

I had a look for ya. I have all the Drum & Bass sets & Sy, Slipmatt, Vinygroover & Seduction sets but not the ones your after. Sorry.
