Not having a go, but I dont really like this music....
Okay, a little bit of a go.. This track has a ****ing epic build up, a Swedish House Mafia sort of Chord build up, then it goes and drops into some weird minimal stuff... Why has Gammer changed his style into this weird 'fire a blank' sort of music where every drop seems to disappoint. Its comparable to watching some really good porn, then having a naked fat bird jump on screen... Its a total anti-climax...
A producer who can produce so well, i think hes wasting his talent imo. His tracks seem to be spurring allot of other artists to use the same 'bang my head off' style of music. GTYM is one prime example.. Styles and Breeze have started. This minimal stuff is the ****ing plague. Also, no matter what he produces people bum it. Its remarkable... D&G's remix of What A Great Drug was dreadful, but people fecking raped the shit out of it!
What do you all think?

It's not too bad imo. Nice build up and quite stompy when it finally comes in.

I really like Pure fish, but only because there's just enough content to keep it out of the 'where the f*** is this going' bin. Totally agree with all your points though mate, so many really really promising tunes are being spoiled by this disease! That riff with a beat behind it would be tune of the year material, really hope somebody gets their hands on it for a remix.

I actually really like it but I think the vocal sample cheapens it a bit. I do like all sorts of minimal music though. :P

Very difficult to describe that immediate reaction - that millisecond of realisation when your brain goes "Is it possible to turn this track off instantly, before anymore of it enters my ears". But by thinking that, you're wasting valuable time which could be spent reaching for the pause button.
As people have said, that start is absolutely mind-blowing. Fcuking love it. But then that shit just comes in on the 'drop'. Imagine hearing that at a rave. I wouldn't actually know what to do when that dropped. Probably go to the bar, I guess.
It doesn't give me any pleasure to say negative things about Gammer. The countless number of vocal anthems he's churned out with Dougal over the years are a huge reason why I love hardcore. But this is just fcuking bollocks.

Klubfiller is all about the hard dance kinda stuff so any collab between the two is gonna seem a bit more hard dance-ish.
Definitely not my thing, the intro reminded me of something orbital would do in the early 90s, not a bad thing but I agree that the fish samples definitely made it sound much more cheap. I don't really like minimal stuff because it just encourages that "harder harder harder" mentality, I don't really understand why people are treating hardcore like a sort of macho thing "my music is harder than yours" but whatever. If people like it, fair enough.

definitely don't like this track at all. the buildup just led to a huge disappointment.
he's coming to Houston in a few weeks and I'm real excited to see him, but i sure do his set is made up of his best tracks he's worked on, rather than a set promoting his new stuff.

it probably will be his newest stuff. I'll be honest here when I say I don't give a sod about big name DJs, not because I don't like them but because their sets are almost always a showcase of their latest works, I do understand the need to push their stuff out there but it leaves me wanting to hear smaller DJs really. Only downside is less excitement in the crowd for smaller DJs.
there really is a vicious circle going on with this thing at the moment, if people have tracks by an artist they are more likely to turn up to a rave with their name on a flier than some DJ they've never heard of, so a lot of promoters will for the most part only book those who have their own productions and are well known.
I think eventually in years to come we may (sadly) see the death of the normal DJ. I personally really hope it doesn't come to that because it is going to limit exposure to music so much. I will say that despite our occasional differences I think Billy Bunter is very good in that aspect of playing such a mixed bag but obviously he has his own style and we need more people out there doing it and getting famous for it.
Another prediction here is that we'll see a divide between DJs and performing producers caused by producers like Skrillex encouraging 'click button and play' performances and deadmau5 by trash talking DJs constantly saying that they aren't necessary. The only way DJs will be able to keep alive is to just come up with some really tight mixing and make their DJing skills as important as the music they play.
sorry, went a bit off track and a bit 'prophecy' there, but I do reckon this will happen, you can kind of see it evolving if you step back

I wasn't overly impressed with the intro. And then it "dropped" and the only word that came to my mind was stupid. It's like a really bad electro track just sped up. The fish samples are just dumb. I understand when producers make a track that supposed to be a little funny, but this just takes everything, stupid vocals, the wobbly electro crap, way to far.

A build up is for a reason. I hate tunes that have drops from a really big build up. The greater the build up. The following should just be great! Not a kick, bass, leading to another build up. It should be the main riff, bass, kicks, hi-hats, cymbals, extra sounds (beeps and what ever the tune consists of), and sometimes even strings to give it a nice mood all rolled into the same part. I've noticed a lot of recent tracks doing this and I just don't get it.
