i can honestly say i haven't done it in over a year but if i ever decide to do it again, i wouldn't be concerned whether ppl consider me a **** or not for doing it. I also wouldn't be parading around the fact that i do it either. @Neko personally if it bothers you that ppl would think you're a **** for doing it, you either are doing it or your thinking about doing it.

I never said it bothers me, it was a question. I'm trying to understand the train of thought...you know? learn something new? I've got no interest in freeform other than tuning into a few shows on krafty. It's good stuff but I wouldn't download it (illegally or not) because I don't have an interest.

The only time I downloaded illegally was years ago when I was 14, it was 2 tracks on limewire and they were from Happy 2B Hardcore which I almost have the entire physical collection of CDs twice over because I like it so much. If that isn't support I don't know what is. What makes you think it's okay to point the finger at other people when you have no idea about them?

....back to the original post:

I could get them repressed but I won't for a couple of reasons:

1) I sold them on the basis that they were limited edition. If I sell an album with the promise that only 300/400 have been made, and then months later I get more made, I'm effectively lying to the people who bought the first few hundred.

gotcha, didn't know it was sold as a limited edition. Question answered!

As for digital releases after, I absolutely hate digital releases now and don't see the point in them. An mp3 is literally worthless to me. Its not about selling thousands, its about making a nice product that is wanted by the general public. I do so well with the albums cos the few hundred that buy them KNOW the tracks won't come out digitally, its like a special little club that people can feel part of, knowing that they are only 1 of a few hundred. I hope you understand, or at least can understand why I think this way.

I respect that! As a DJ a digital release is useful to me but I can totally understand that mentality and I agree. To be honest if there was a track I wanted enough I would think nothing of buying the whole album for it anyway. Heck, I used to do that when I was 12 and didn't even know what hardcore was.

what if they JUST download this album? Just because they have download this album does it mean they illegally download regularly. I've already mentioned that someone wished to buy this album, but because he lives in Belarus, his VISA won't be accepted by Paypal. TEchnically it aint Thumpa's fault, but that's still a potential buyer who can't get it. If he wishes to buy this album, I'll tell him to mail Thumpa himself and tell his story

Wrong you are sir. In reality, everyone is a filthy, dirty, lying, hypocritical, sleazy, slimy, cheap, spoiled pirate that deals orphans and orphan's organs over the black market, aside from pirating every bit of music they want. They also jaywalk.

How wrong you are! I donated my own kidneys to the black market! If you excuse me, I need to empty my bag.

What difference would that make though?! Doing it only once dosn't justify it more lol. If he can't buy it then that's unfortunate but he dosn't have a right to own it so there is nothing he can do about it apart from try to obtain it via other legitimate means.
