there is a production competition in progress, which closes on the 19th October.

Yes I am a bastard, but why put the limitation of using only samples from the sample pack? Is this just to avoid presenting people with a blank canvas?
Especially since the sample pack includes raw waves in, which is essentially turning yer sampler into a synthesizer anyways. With no limitation on outboard gear and since different samplers each have such a unique personality, being restricted to the sample pack doesn't really do much to level the playing field.
I'm still not certain whether I really like or really hate the vocal.
