This guys getting on my wick.
He's started spamming inks to his music on my facebook, and now on my soundcloud songs. Putting links in comments on my tracks.
Its no secret I have a problem with this guy, hes a knob, but im stressed today and need to have a rant.
I dare anyone to leave a negative comment on his soundcloud. However constructive you make it, you are more than likely going to be told to f**k off and produce better. I know a few people can vouch for that. I know that he's gone as far as publicly tormenting and abusing critics. Hes tormented someone who was a big support so much the police were informed.
Gisbo is a class A prick, and how he has so much support from the scene bemuses me. He knows I dont like him, because we have fallen out, but persists in spamming his music on my facebook wall (when i deleted the spam he removed me as a friend) and now on my soundcloud..
It all kicked off when I said I loved his track, but felt that the breakdows were a bit lengthy and one breakdown needed to sound different to the other to avoid repetition. He didnt like it. His reply was along the lines of: "Take your own advice before commenting on my music, your musics hardly flawless, so **** off.". Ive seen those kinda of comments ALLOT from him on Soundcloud and trackitdown. We've seen it on this forum aswell, like on Eufeion - Saw, he called it Donkcore.
Having read back at what Olly Thumpa said about Gisbos music, I agree, its not as good as people make out, and Gisbo has allot to learn about it before he gets anywhere. He also has to change his attitude and learn to take critisism, especially when its constructive. Hes a bad sport, contributes nothing apart from spam and doesnt deserve shit all. Its really annoying me. I'm in a bad mood and this is me ranting to get stress off my chest, but at the same time expressing how I feel about this chav individual.
Look at this: hes doing it to everyone...

I've now muted him on soundcloud, and we're not friends on soundcloud anymore after his second bout of spam.

That spam is a blatant violation of SoundCloud's community guidelines. I would recommend you send an email to them about this along with any screenshots and links you have.

Normally i'm against this kind of thing because it can be difficult to get both sides of the story and one party usually ends up with a lot of negative publicity. In this case i'll make an exception!

He called me a twat because I made a genuinely logical point about bootlegs that I guess he didn't like so I just deleted him off FB. Facebook is for people I know or have an interest in following, not for strangers to promote themselves to me, if your music is that good no doubt I will stumble across it. If you feel the need to ram your music in other people's faces to gain a reputation chances are it's not very good to begin with, yes that's a harsh thing to say but it is true. A few tweets, a few facebook/forum posts and a bit of word of mouth is all you need. That's not just for Gisbo, I'm sure there are other culprits too.
Gisbo if you're reading this, (which you probably are) instead of trash talking you (because lets face it, that doesn't get anyone anywhere) I will advise you to take things a bit less personally. That's not me telling you what to do or anything like that, but just what I think would be the best course of action. You can call me a twat/knob/peado like michael jackson until you are blue in the face but the fact this thread was made is proof enough that what I am saying holds at least some weight.

though how i got mine was sneaky i guess - as my wife's a student at Uni she gets discount on everything, so i bought full cubase 5 for 210 instead of whatever it was without student discount at the time...

Shame there's no edu discount on Komplete 7, because it's monstrously expensive!
