Haha you'd think so wouldn't you? So wrong though. The ammount of times I've been somewhere a whole night without the person I've meant to meet. On the other hand when your not planning to meet someone you will always end up running into them.

I'm an organisation freak, so if it was me going (and this is what will be happening when I'm back for a rave and demand to meet you lot in the flesh), I would do some reconnaissance, establish a local pub, and say meet there 90 minutes before the doors open. Suitable drinking time, and suitable "getting-to-know-each-other-well-enough-before-loud-music-renders-conversation-impossible" time.

Just be careful though if you do have a meet up, you never know what people are like in real life.
When we had a meet up at Westfest a few years back there was one member there who was a right knobhead.....

I think there is an outdoor smoking area, where they'll be plenty of chance to chat - mind you, i'm still trying to work out how much to drink in order to last through the entire night without collapsing..so how good at forming my sentances I'll be...I do not know! ;)
