I wish the info on HU 5 would hurry and be released!! Is it really important to keep it hush hush for this long...since it was supposed to be released this month anyways?

Breaking Free will be a 3CD album, out somewhere between September and November.
It'll be indeed a Breakbeat Hardcore and Drum & Bass album. Featuring the likes of Vibes and Sy but also new talent like StrifeII, Cahb and Feist.
Final line-up, artwork and more will be revealed as soon as the mixes and everything else is done so please be patient. Good things come to those who wait...

It's like, the longer it takes to get any information after the announcement on the album is made, the more my excitement dies down for it. Remember when Bonkers was going strong, and we'd get snips of info. here and there to keep the excitement up?

Sounds great, COH was magic.
I really hope this time you decide to make them easily downloadable or even on disc. The reason why is because I know a lot of people who aren't good with PC's (even the basics) so when you're asking us extract files, use cue splitter etc etc alot of people are clueless or actually can't be bothered. I think you're really missing a trick if you decide to release them this way again.
As for Hardcore Underground 5, I'd like to see some Michael Mansion on there please . Everything that this guy touches turns to gold!

This!
The few times that Hardcore Underground have featured/released a Michael Mansion tune, it's always been a Brisk remix, or a Fracus remix - or something like that. I think they try and "toughen up" his tunes. I think out-and-out Michael Mansion is to pussy-ified for Hardcore Underground.

Our focus at the moment is finishing the album itself. Once that is done we can worry about drip feeding information, clips and freebies. We're battle hardened enough by now not to release any information before things are 100% complete and everything signed in triplicate.
The only reason HU5 was announced, certainly as early, was the dearth of anything else going on. As always there are other non visible factors in play that mean we'd rather sit tight for now.
Quite why we should need to worry about creating excitement when there are so few albums around is a mystery. Surely it's better to focus on the album itself? In the end we've had enough pre-release and release hiccups to have learned that the only thing that endures is the finished compilation.

I really hope the tone of complacency there was unintentional because that's the last thing i'd expect from you!
You and i both know there are many people who'd buy the album on the strength of name alone with content being somewhat secondary for a lot of them. That doesn't mean that there aren't some of us who'd like to know at least a tiny bit of what's going on.
The fact that there's so little to choose from makes the prospect more, not less exciting.
