From memory it's been AGES since we had the last one (2008 and i think... maybe there was one after, i'm not sure) and i think it's overdue.
This time, i'd like to confirm with silver about the medals and what not. I'll send him a PM but silver if you're reading this - what do you think? I'm sure between us all we can get the artwork and what not done and people can hold their titles for a year.
What do you guys think? It was just a bit of fun last time and it was funny to see the end results.
I organised the 2008 one, so i don't mind doing it again. Just gauging the interest in it before i put in the effort as it is a LOT of effort counting votes and what not. And if there is a lot of interest, i'll make a new thread for categories and nominations and hopefully get it a temporary sticky.
Well to you guys, what do you say?
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WERENT AROUND FOR THE LAST ONE - EXPLANATION:
Basically it's just awards given out to members of the forum based on a criteria that is determined by the collective of the forum. Meaning, you'll be able to nominate categories to be included, as well as nominating people for that award, and voting on said award.
In 2008 we were meant to get silver to give out medals to each user based on what awards they had won, that would go in the same place the artist medal/events medal/donation medals go. That never happened, so hopefully we can actually confirm it this time.
From memory last time we did it we had 30 odd categories. Like, most popular member, most annoying member, funniest thread, worst thread, best up and coming dj/producer/MC, favourite mod etc and so on and so forth. We had a good 30 of them and 4 or 5 people nominated in every category. Was great fun. Some humorous results.

I'd be up for it mate. We seem to have a decent bit of spirit and participation at the minute so it's as good a time as any.

I remember these. a bit of a shame that it wasn't made into a yearly thing as it would have gone way better.

Lol, I don't hate music over 168, I just don't think it sounds good if a track produced at 170 is pitched to 200 ;p
