or have had horrible neighbors in the past?
man...All 4 lots of my neighbors (i live in a block of units) are crazy
like the ones upstairs..her brother is a crim and I got woken up to a megaphone at 530am blaring "This is the armed offenders squad, please come out now and you will not be harmed" opened my curtains to freaking Armageddon so it looked like. people with guns and attack dogs and shit..Her kids are feral and if i leave my front door pen they decide its ok to come inside and watch tv..?
I swear the other ones are dealers and they have a big scary pitbull that knows how to throw his weight around...
Am I the only one with horrible neighbors?

I did, 2 divorced parents living together always yelling at each other. They always did stupid shit like cutting down all their trees in their backyard to get a pool then the city council said they couldn't get a pool. And of course they blamed all of the neighbors for not giving them any privacy. But the kid was the worst, two years older then me and always was the biggest douche ever. Couple years ago he rang the doorbell and when I answered it he punched me in the face and ran off. He later became a drug dealer and was sent to jail for 2 years. They had two dogs they would let loose in the neighborhood and crap in everyone's lawn. One time I had my two dogs out in our fenced backyard and their dog came up and started barking at my dogs, of course my dogs bark back. The neighbors proceed to call the cops and I got a warning from the cops saying if they had to come out again, they would take my dogs away. But there is a great ending to the story, their house got foreclosed and I never saw them again.
**** yeah.

i live in a 4 in a block n the flat below me has had nobody living there since i moved in (and i think there are mice and rats because of it coz i hear scratching in my walls a lot n my dog got a rat last year) the 1 across from that has nobody either coz a peado raped a 15yr old then all the local dafties found out trashed it then the started shit with me which ended badly for them (i have family in glasgow who took care of them) then i go on holiday and my cousin got his head kicked in (you know about that) the guy across from me is sound but the people that lived there before were always causing trouble some1 was even thrown over the balcony they got chased out by a heroin dealer n a loan shark i came back one night last year and the guy tried to get in my flat so i set my dog on him i'm just hoping nobody moves in below me coz i'm lovin bein able to play my tunes all nite n not have any1 complain which means i can practice my mixin all nite lmao

Of course. I wouldn't say we have real ghettos, but some parts are worse than others. There have been a couple stabbings and rapes in Lillestrom and Strommen in the last few years, and a store exploding suspiciously, but nothing here in Raelingen that I'm aware of :>

worst thing I have in my neighborhood is a dog that constantly barks when it's outside. have one neighbor that will mow part of my lawn and the other will share fresh veggies out of their garden with us

@monster sounds like u live in the slumps. should consider getting out of there first chance you get.
my neighborhood is quiet with the exception of the crazy cat lady to the right of us. one thanksgiving she called the cops on us b/c she thinks we were doing drug deals. nice to have my grade school nieces and nephews see cops come and question their parents. the cops tho realized she was batshit crazy and everytime after that they went and scolded her. she called the cops a few times after that because we were doing work on the house and didn't like the workers being close to her property. Her house was supposed to be foreclosed months ago but it never happened not sure why.
And the neighbors next to us have a huge dog that would howl like crazy when it needed to go to the bathroom. really pissed us off but it doesn't happen that often. kind of sad that the dog is in such poor condition that it can barely walk now.
While our neighborhood is quiet, the apartment complex on the other side of the street of my neighborhood are not. There's still shitloads of katrina refugees living there and they are just scum. Some have come and robbed houses on my street and one year after school ended and the kids were released early, those kids decided to celebrate by smashing the windows of cars on our street. I seriously never hated a group of ppl so much. Houston's image has really suffered because of all that Louisiana trash.

latininxtc Ironically this is a nice-ish suburb..i just got the short end of the stick when it come to my neighbors i guess.
we're lucky we live on the side of the city that wasn't utterly destroyed by the quake.

same with me they leave there dog to bark pretty much all day it does my head in. Back when I lived in my old town we had foreigners move in (somewhere from the middle east, not sure where), and they literally turned a nice neighborhood(ish, if you didn't leave the street anyway) into a smelly shit hole. Let's see: They had more then a dozen people living in the house; They never cut their grass and it was taller then my fence, and you could see it being pushed down by rats; It smelled like they never cleaned because it smelled like garlic and shit coming from their house. The ironic thing? When we moved out they bought our house, and they paid in all cash that was inside a sock.
