Some scumbag apparently beat his girlfriends son to death. Not often you see hardcore mentioned in the media, certainly wouldn't want to see it again in circumstances like these.

i thought most everyone who listened to HHC was happy go lucky. clearly there are exceptions.
murder on it's own is terrible, but to kill an infant never mind your own son (? i only skimmed) is just about the lowest...

I was going to post the same thing, but then I noticed that it was an article by the Daily Mail. anyone have any clue what this guy's dj name is? and i'm sure there's a chance that he doesn't dj 'happy hardcore' and they just got it confused with a genre that they aren't familiar with.
reminds me of that story about the grandma dj they said she was a happy hardcore dj and all it was was scouse/electro house she did

not to take it too far off subject, but the Telegraph is far more conservative than Daily Mail.
the difference you're looking for is that the Daily Mail is far far closer to shit tabloid journalism than the telegraph/guardian. trying to score political points using tabloid rubbish is exactly what left wing loons would do. ;)

interesting they found out about the DJing side of things and others didn't, or didnt bother to report it..
wonder how they found out - i doubt it was in a police press report

I've seen 4 or 5 reports that are very similar and others with no mention of dj'ing at all. BTW, it looks like he actually plays hard house if Youtube and Bebo are anything to go by.

the BBC havent reported this yet - wondering if thats because of the last few instances where people have had their lives wrecked because the press went to town on them even though they didnt do anything (the saline solutions death nurse, the landlord of that murdered woman to mention first two that spring to mind)
