i work 4 woolworths and imagine my surprise when i looked at the new delivery of cds that we got 2day! i opened the box and the new next gen/bb cd was staring back at me! i couldnt believe it i mean this is a woolworths were talkin about! so wen i got home i looked on their website (www.woolworths.co.uk) and searched 4 hardcore at the top and about 20 cds came up!! everything-hardcore a new beginning by scott brown and neophyte(£11.49), masters of hardcore(£11.49!!), the decadance hardcore mixed by sy&unknown (£8.49) and loads more! i dont get it! its cheap as well!

All my local stores have always sold HHC, just but not vinyls. Although Woolworths have not sold any HHC CD's since Bonkers 6.

You can buy the h2bh at any store, but its harder to get bonkers and such. I have to use the internet.

ok no offense but i think woolies selling hhc is just a pay out and kinda "chatty" er cheap n nasty like for example;
if you had the choice to buy underpants from woolies or from a normal store like grace brothers which would u buy and would you actually carry it to the counter yourself... i dunno just seems soldout if you ask me
BUT..
i do understand where u are coming from saying its becoming mainstream so to speak instead of a genre of music that slots somewhere in a dark hidden spot.. that is superly hard to get your paws on..
but as i said before i dont like it at all ..
~ if your going to whine, moan or lecture save it for someone who cares ~

Hardcore being sold all over the place is only a good thing! More exposure = more ravers :D

more (good) exposure will also help dilute the (bad) exposure

that's assuming it'd sell enough units to chart. i still think that the genre as a whole, cheesy though it may be, is too far removed from the mainstream to ever compete in sales.

i see what u mean in a sense but with the constant overload of it eg adverts the younger generation might have listen to it and think yeah thats realy good fair play itll never be as big as pop but thats very very good thing
it will become more widespread
