I'm guessing it's a fault on EA's part. Does anyone else you know have the beta working on their computer?

EA are shocking. Everything they touch is crap.

I suggest making sure your networks NAT is open, and have a look at this: http://www.overclock.net/pc-games/1128840-solution-cant-join-any-servers-battlefield.html

That's why it's a Beta folks! Took me all day to get connected on XBL on tuesday but no problems since. Does look like EA have got a bit complacent though, why make the effort when people will buy their games year after year anyway?

EA has always been ****ing idiotic in their approaches to game as far as I'm concerned. They've become that big company nobody likes, like IBM in the 90s. They turned Dragon Age into a mediocre hack and slash in the second game, so as far as I'm concerned they can shove it. Plus the amount of sports games they churn out is ridiculous.

"Don't spend over this point, just copy all the code from the previous 18 games and add new players."

They do make way too many sports games without a doubt. It's always the same exact game too just different players except madden fanboys now claim the catching is "more realistic" and the crowd is now "updated so it looks real". On top of all of that the fact you have to register an email to play on their servers on console games has always annoyed me too. I think the last EA game i bought was probably the first Army of Two and online in that game sucked but the gameplay as far as the whole co-op campaign was fun for my friend and I.

You have to register on their crappy shit just to play Dragon Age with DLC, and the same for Mass Effect because Bioware is owned by EA. EA can go in a corner and die, forcing software in EVERYONE's face is just down right ****ing annoying.
