Wow you guys need to chill ;) It's not rain but I see Quicksilver his point, it's like "There's nowhere (no place) left to rain" which means sun (and therefore happniess) will be all over the world, or it could even be "rain" as "cry" (tears) so "There's nowhere left to cry" but that's less...realistic hehe

I know this feeling when you realize the lyrics are something different than what you thought and you've been singing these wrong lyrics all the time haha

I remember when I first heard Pretty Rave Girl I thought the text was "I know a pretty Rainbow" and I couldn't accept the fact it was "Rave Girl", because I liked Rainbow much better :P

Actually, despite my stance on this i do agree that it COULD be rain, but applying even the most lenient rules on the use of the English language, there's no way it SHOULD be. It would have been much easier if he had just sung the words properly - even 'sun' sounds wrong too!

No, the lyrics are much less than in an ordinary pop song. That gives us the freedom to interpret and put in what ever we are capable of. It's a bit like classic music where only instruments are played with no lyrics at all. You only get the mood of the music and that's it. Propably that's the reason why pices like "Fuer Elise" never get old.

PS: I think it's:
When there's no where left to run.
and you searching for the sign.
I find a way to run to you

And when there's no where left to hide,
and you burning up inside,
I find a way to run to you.
