Yes this is actual Dubstep. Everything else you have heard is just massively commercial stuff. It's what Scooter is to real Trance basically. Essentially a different genre.

dubstep is actually...pretty boring (imo)! I only like darker dubstep like Spl, Niveau Zero, Broken Note, Hollow Point Rec and so on....

i love dubstep :)
always did but its only specific songs, i dont like skrillex that much and i dont like too many mainstream artists i think there soiling the good name of dubstep
theres alot of good tunes out there you just have to look and listen
ive been making dubstep for a while and im just starting to get use to it :)

Skrillex does have some great songs - and he's fantastic live (he was at global gathering last year) my only complaint was that the sound system wasnt bigger!

another "not as good as the 'original'" (whatever that is) dubstep remix of a happy hardcore tune... er, trance or whatever the original was.

I feel the exact same way. Love these tunes. I wish this kind of Dubstep had taken off more.
