What the hell is 'Loungecore' I've heard the term thrown around loosely, but I don't quite understand what it is??! This is what Urbandictionary.com says:
"A proposed genre of music which would be changed little from the original lounge singers of the 1950's and onwards. Largely Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, focusing largely on the values of the traditional "gangster" and teaching a lesson to "those damn kids". There is also a focus on "class", dressing well (suits, etc...)."..
Illbient, - is it a combination of Illogical ambient music?? what is it?
and Twilight Electronica - electronica music played in the evening??
Please explain...

the first two is just someone having a laugh.
the last "twilight electronica" sounds like someone getting over fancy with the terms Chillout, Downtempo and Ambient
often people who don't know of these genres like to pigeon hole/make up new genres, to describe genre's they've never heard of

I certainly hope so, however i would not be at all surprised if they weren't.
Regardless it's definately a case of people making up names for the sake of it.
