Yeah, Brighton is cool. Like the British Ibiza (more or less lol)
Musically, I just mess about these days. Nothing too serious, just a bot of fun on the PC.
You?

I only know that sample that its' from It's Alright by Buzz Fuzz vs Bass-D & King Matthew. And hardcore artists usually sample Public Enemy

Yeah producing and stuff, doing a lot of happy hardcore because I'm all about the late 90s cheese and so on because I love it but not releasing anything, no samples, WIPs etc. until I'm happy with it as a professional product. I DJ a lot of cheese as well...which doesn't get me very far in the UK :P I still play Rainbow Tune! Great stuff.

Hardcore is fairly dead in Brighton at the moment, do you go out much or are you interested in any other music? Just out of interest what do you think of hardcore nowadays?

I'm gonna guess..MC IC3? Is it a dnb MC? Your samples always remind me of the sort of samples DNA used to use when he did hardcore.

I got Absolute Hardcore 3 (or was it 2) that had 2 James Venus tracks.

God what happened to the tracks? Either the previous owners hammered those tracks, or it was poorly mastered, because most of the other tracks on the same vinyl are OK, but the james venus tracks sounded overcompressed

When he says "who's getting battered tonight", it sounds like Everson Allen, but the piece after that sounds nothing like him lol. So basically I've no idea! - Nice track though

>Brian K, you win! It is in fact Charlie B... you win a prize! (**** knows what, I'll think of something...)

>Samination, you are right the recording quality of the tracks on the vinyl is terrible.God knows how much compression was used on it, but by the time they put it onto vinyl, the dubplate I gave Vibes was hammered. I wish they had asked my for an original master on DAT and it would have been so much better sounding.

>NekkoShuffle, glad you are keeping the 90's vibes alive! I miss those times - it's just not the same nowadays (or am I just sounding old!!!)

Yeah, Hardcore doesn't seem to go down too well in Brighton these days. But saying that, I went to an OldSkool thing at Concorde recently and that was very good. Like propper sweaty rave. I like the hardcore these days. I think I prefered the stuff 2001 - 2004. It really peaked again then. Still, it could do it again, but it is getting quite "pop'like atm. But who knows.
