main reason would be they are a lot cheaper than the first time round!

sometimes music sounds better when played on an analogue source over and over again until you get a tape buzz 
one reason I like to buy them is because sometimes you'll hear a rare gem in a set that you missed...

exactly the reason i buy them. love finding stompers that ive never come across before!
id heard of hardcore/bonkers around 99ish but didnt really get into the genre until the original hardcore series came out and mainly because there was a couple of scooter tunes on it so i missed alot of the older stuff first time around.
alot of older mixes/compilations have the same tunes on them but occasionally u come across a tune youve never heard before
for instance ive just bought all the original hardcore heaven series and came across this gem.....
