Where do you prefer to shop?
I have a feeling most will say HMV/Amazon/Play but apart from those is there anywhere else you look for CDs? For example gabber cds if you buy them or Shanty's Hardcore Anthems series?
What format do you prefer? Mixed? Unmixed? Both?
Whats important to you? Big names mixing it? Big names on the tracklist? both? none?
How do you hear about new CD albums?

amazon and ebay, occasionally play...but I'm not on good terms with them at the moment.
perfer DJ friendly to be honest - mainly because I buy old happy hardcore albums!

Haven't bought in ages, but:
-Usually buy where i can find the album/single/compilation i want to buy. Prefer stores i use or have used before.
-Unmixed (doesn't have to be "DJ friendly", radio edits are fine too.).
-Enough tracks that i know are good.
-Internet: forums, youtube, google etc

Prefer to buy new CD's in person from a shop where possible, but there's much more available online. Any chance i get i'll buy direct from the label, means they get more of the money from the sale.
For old stuff, always ebay.
I enjoy buying and listening to mixed albums but if it's full of stuff i could buy and mix myself it loses the appeal. Unmixed tunes with a mix included will make me more likely to buy.
ONLY the music is important. Big names mixing a CD means nothing if the content is shit. It's only important for sales because big names bring big tunes with them to an album.
Either email from stores/labels, soundcloud/forum links and getting spammed to death on facebook!

I LIKE ITUNES BUT.....
http://www.trackitdown.net/ is where I always go just because of the selection but if it's on iTunes it's much easier to import to Traktor. Always good to get a few mixes in there for the iPod.

in the past i've done amazon and juno, but recently ordered from Hardbeats store. my first time around was a bad experience but this time around it was a great one. Ordered HU5 and it came to me 7 days later, which is really fast considering I'm in the US and in the past it's taken an average of 2wks (with other sellers). Maybe I was just lucky this time around
and as far as older cds or ones that I wasn't in a big rush to get, I go on ebay for that.
didn't realize there were more question lol. to add to this, Mixed or unmixed doesn't matter to me, however if it's unmixed I do prefer the digital download version. prefer physical copies for a mixed cd. although there have been exceptions, like NuEnergy100, My Rave & Hardcore Energy 1 & 2
I prefer well-known names in the tracklist more than an established dj/producer mixing it. I'm iffy on tracks from virtually unknown producers, but if I like what I hear in previews I'll definitely go for it.
Usually I get my info about new albums on here. I also get them on FB announcements, events, new pages and whatnot

Prefer to shop physically for a CD, especially something that'll be easy to get. I know most hardcore compilations will make it to the shelves of my local HMV so I like going in there and getting something.
Mixed actually. If I'm gonna be buying DJ length tracks I'll buy them from places like TID etc. obviously if it's an old skool CD with unmixed tracks I'll jump at it for obvious reasons. If I buy a CD I'm normally buying it to listen to, so I could do without the extended intros/outros and like to leave it in the hands of the DJs.
Being interesting is the most important thing to me. The same old names and faces on various CDs make for a boring listen, I think Bonkers was so successful for the sheer range of styles and artists on the album. If I see a tracklist with a bunch of unknowns, I'll be hesitant, but it does depend on track names too.
Maybe this sounds like a superficial thing to say but track names are often a good indication for me. If I see track names like '**** You (Dirty Slut Remix)' 'Dirty Bass 2009' 'Bassline Killa' I just think "Avoid..." I just don't wanna be listening to that kinda stuff really, it sounds tacky and crass and a bit chavvy and it's not really the reason I like hardcore.
I normally hear about new albums from here, or Facebook...sometimes twitter.

Shop: amazon, amazon UK, ebay,
Format: Mixed!
Important: I would say Big Name, but it seems beside DJ Brisk & Ham, the big names keep mixing at a slower tempo each album release. I really dislike the B2B mixing, because it leaves me wondering who's doing the good tricks, and who's just fading in and out. It would be neat to hear a mix from a lesser-known DJ, especially if they add some "umph!" to their mixing!
I hear about new cds from this site.

Simple aswer for me! PRICE, I'll shop on all online stores, and I'll wait a few weeks aswell (not bothered about right here right now) smaller labels like yourself and HU its a bit different, as limited copies but ones like AATW, SV always reduce the price after 4 weeks to get rid of remaining copies!
Format - I'm not a DJ (even in my own living room) so mixed all the way! Its how Hardcore music should be anyway! Can understand why a lot of peolple want unmixed 13 track albums but for the general punter hardcore wise they want a good mix of 18/20 tracks!
We all know the answer for big names mixing albums! But thats because we are all experts (well we think we are) and just usually slate them because its easy to do! But if you want to sell a comp it will get a lot more notice if you can advertise the fact that the big names are on it trackwise! (even if DS has just one on your album, his name can be used)
Btw Gabba CD's are all over play,HMV and Amazon ect now due to Cloud9! I've never ever known it as easy to buy one as this year! and they are a lot cheaper than Holland!
New CD relaeses I usualy find by looking hard and posting on here before anyone else

I like it when mixed CDs include an unmixed CD of every used track as well.
