i never started to buy physical cds until recently; i would always find myself buying unmixed tracks off TID etc etc

but to finish off 2011 & the start of 2012. i want to start getting more physical compilations & unmixed cds.

so far i have

Hardcore Energy 2
GTYM: The Takeover
NSR: Future Hardcore
NSR: Hardcore Explosion
NSR: Hardcore Invasion

i plan on buying

fracus & darwin-balancing act
Hardcore Underground 5

based on the hardcore you see im into due to the listing of the cds i own & plan on purchasing, what cds would you suggest i add to my collection?

Try these two puppies. Two of the most underrated and powerful albums released, in my opinion:

1) True Hardcore (2007): http://www.discogs.com/Various-True-Hardcore-Its-A-Way-Of-Life/release/1098278

2) Hardcore Euphora (2006): http://www.discogs.com/SyUnknown-DougalGammer-And-BriskHam-Hardcore-Euphoria/release/788433

Was a great couple of years for Hardcore back then. Really strong.

Yes, just gonna second this. I LOVE these 2 CDs. Absolutely brilliant.

Also get the Happy 2B Hardcore CDs..1-6 7&8 are both upfront hardcore, which isn't a problem in itself but I just personally think they both carried a different vibe from 1-6. Happy 2B Hardcore 6 is my favorite Happy Hardcore CD of all time, I went through about a year of listening to it every day on the way to college..just so many memories.

Can you still buy the Happy 2B Hardcore CDs anywhere, cheaply?

I think the Hullastore still sells them, you used to be able to pay 60 CAD for the whole box set which was quite a bargain. Not sure if they're still up on there though.

Definitely NOT True Hardcore! Unless you love MCing, but if you don't you'll hate the album.

Hardcore Underground 1-4 you should get, but good luck finding HU2. It's quite rare.

I despise MCing, yet it's still one of my favourite albums. You can get past it, I reckon. It's not tooo abundant.

I actually like it, the MCing on the album I mean. I always rap along with Whizzkid in my head when I hear the original tunes played. "Jump so hard I crack the floor, I'm the definition of hardcore so if ya alsjdsojhfirgbpriughruhsfj since 95 still burns inside I'm addicted to the mic and the sdhsjddfhsdfj ravers right dfhdjhsdjfhdf KEEPS ME RAVIN' THROUGH THE NIGHT" "I've been searching through the corners of my mind, to find a reason why~" (etc.)

Also the big dramatic speech before The Tunnel gets played...nothing short of epic! Mad chair rave moment.

EDIT: those keyboard mash parts are the bits I just mumble to because I can't figure out the words. They're not Whizzkid-approved lyrics.

LOL, I realised that.

I have to admit, I do regularly find Whizzkid's words popping into my head whenever I hear Lose Me Forever (absolutely outrageously good track).
