I think the site peaked around 2002-2004, they were magical times! Its a shame no other site has taken over or come close in terms of discussion, information, passion and ideas. Going to those Slammin, HH, Uproar events at the Sanctuary and literally meeting 100+ people in one night was great and I made some amazing lifelong friends through that site.

I first joined in 2003 from about 2005 people just got board... A forum can only go do far really so it was only a matter of time
I can't see this out dated forum actually lasting another few years tbh
Well that would be because it's not facebook.
Even Facebook is out dated... The severs are sooooo slow, the site does things that you'd expect from an amateur site not something that's worth billions
People don't visit forums because they are 'up to date'. Nobody cares.

hmm I think what Matt was saying is that people don't post on forums BECAUSE the forum software is up to date.. and that people don't care about how up to date the forums are they'll post either way

Yeah, the daily hardcore discussions on here are hard to keep up with sometimes, I have to put a few hours a day aside just to catch up.
You're right though, Facebook isn't always the best place for music discussions. I would love for forums to make a proper comeback.

I'd kill for the days when Raverbaby promos were being played for the first time and no-one knew what they were, 2000/2001 time, the excitement and buzz about the hardcore scene was incredible, we'll never see that again, I don't think.
Obviously we can't find the USH posts but I imagine there will be some from this site in the archives.
