I'v been into my Hardcore for about 8 years now and love the raving scene with a passion. Although I keep up to date with the latest Album releases and my friends are constantly sending me the newest tunes and remixes over facebook, I was wondering what the best Hardcore Pod Casts were, and where I could find them... I'v seen Whizzkid's Podnoodle posted on sound cloud before but apart from that I'm not sure where to look for the latest releases and who's releasing them. If you could help me find these hidden treasures i'd be very grateful :D

well I don't know any pods (what's the real difference from a mix and apod? except less talking? :) ), but I got mixes if you like Hardcore/Freeform/Makina/Gabber from 1996 to today

I'v used this website before but never ventured into the forum i'm afraid... I'm guess the main reason i'm looking for Pods over Mixes is because whoever hoats the Pod would be talking about up and coming events and releases, their views on the scene and general Hardcore Dance chit chat...

^this is a really good point, when people think podcasts they think topical conversation, music, news etc etc
which I think is important, it would be annoying if people just started labelling their mixes "podcast" when all they've done is just made a mix and put it on the web, a podcast should be something more! :)

The only person I know who does a proper Hardcore Podcast is Jamie Ritmen: http://www.jamieritmenpodcast.com/ In Ritmen's Podcast he talks about the tracks he's playing and has a proper "Radio Show" feeling but ventures into different styles of Hard Dance which isn't really my thing if i'm honest.
Whizzkid's Podnoodle: http://www.mcwhizzkidspodnoodle.com/ is just a very random sounding Mix with some funny lyrics and sound clips and it still dosen't bite the biscuit for what I would call a Podcast. I'm gonna keep hunting and if anything comes up i'll post it here. I'm hoping you guys will do the same?

Eufeion will have his 'Core Cast' up and running soon, with a gabber Guest Mix from sc@r on the first ep. also Hoodzie runs the Ravers Addition podcast and I think there's a podcast for Dance Transmission that he does/did too. You'd have to google those, I also do a 'kandykast' which isn't really a podcast at all it's just a montly showcase mix of all the latest happy things in hardcore as the happier sounds aren't being represented much at the moment.

You are right, Next Generation is the kind of thing I was looking for. Good bit of humor, some good tunes etc. Shame this is their last show tho! lol. Will listen to the rest of the links when this one has finished.

The first addition podcast has a guest mix from Modulate & Petruccio and the 2nd should be released some point next month with a guest mix from HTID boy DJ Bubble with an interview!!
