Some of it had an Old Skool feel to it. I mean it was a step above the last 10 years of EDM which has been dominated by total and utter crud

Surely you've been around long enough to know which part of the forum to post this in?

I'm pretty sure he has it right.
I like some dubstep too, I don't really know many oldskool artists though. Would you be willing to share a few good ones?

Dubstep is fine if you are chilling out or driving home after a huge rave. Couldn't enjoy it at a rave like I do with Hardcore tho!

Carl Cox, Slipmatt, Ellis Dee, Bass Generator, Vibes, Paul Elstak, Scott Brown depends what Old Skool you like. These days I like 1990-1997. Can not get much past 97

I like how you COMPLETELY ignored everyone else's post. Good job.

Smoogie I'm afraid I can't let you do that. You're going to have to hate dubstep, I'm afraid. We're both old skool fans, if you start liking modern music that I don't, I might end up becoming the next Smoogie of HappyHardcore.com
