I always thought he was just taking a break anyhow, and at the start he said he wpuld eventually come back to dj'ing and producing

My guess is he's now realizing what he's going to be missing out on after he leaves. Back in September he mentioned all of these plans and pretty much sounded like he had no intention of coming back after he leaves. But then a lot has happened for him since that time, but I sure would like to see him come back. Even if it's just to dj and not produce.

The whole reason he left is the music was MAKING him skint. Nu Energy was running at a loss and the income he got from DJing was feeding back into the label and it was taking it's toll. Methinks (as someone mentioned here) that if he came back as just a DJ, or maybe a DJ/producer it could work, but he'll need time to work out what he wants to do.
