This so much.
I don't know what the problem is here, Livelee might be totally 100% in the right but oh my gosh it's so ridiculous when I hear MCs and DJs/Producers threaten the ravers/fans/anyone. It's just laughable really and it makes them look so unprofessional, it's totally out of line to threaten ANYONE because they don't like you, much less for a producer/DJ/MC to do it. I honestly can't believe this shit goes on.
Wilky - if him or anyone threatens violence against you for voicing your opinion or doing something non-violent, just call the police and report them to Facebook/Twitter/etc.; not because I think you should hide behind law enforcement, but because it might stop these people from thinking it's okay to handle matters like this, this is the internet, not "the streets". The moment you threaten anyone on the internet or in real life is simply breaking the law and making the world a much more unsafe place. I don't want anything to do with a DJ, MC or Producer who threatens people, they need to be taken off the streets and kept in a cage if they can only act like animals and not like human beings. Simple as that. Nobody has the right to jeapardise your safety just because they don't like what you have to say.

Sadly it didnt take long before the arselickers anonymous club started posting on their status asking for me to be named and shamed and joined in slagging me off too.
But these fall-outs never normally last long. these little issues always breeze by in the end.
So you, Sharkey & Thumpa are all best buds again?

We get on like a house on fire.
To be honest I posted that just for the sake of saying the word 'breeze'

I'm not reporting anyone to the police, I try to stay away from them if I can
I simply made this thread as Lee wanted to blast me on twitter so I decided to blast him on here - if he hunts me down which I doubt as he's heading to the wrong town if he does then bring it on haha
I just find it funny how some other MCs jumped straight on his bandwagon and started jumping to his defence

Tbh though I can see why Breeze is so pissed, take a look at his preview mix and you'll find 20 comments calling him a sellout, telling him what to produce, etc. I think his comments just on there were pretty mature. Was in a nutshell "You don't tell me what to produce or tell me what to mix. Its my life and my tastes and if you want something else go look for it."

Fair play Wilky, if you want to keep baiting him then that's up to you, but you're responsible for your actions. If it was a threat just for voicing your opinion then I'd say tell the police whether you like them or not, I'd do it to my favorite DJ if it came to it, I'm not having this scene degenerate into threats of physical violence just because someone doesn't agree with what someone else says. It's bad enough not feeling safe around the attendees of events, I'm not having DJs or MCs or whoever else make it unsafe either. This is a music scene, not a dictatorship.

Haha it wasnt with his production my time :P. Moreso about something someone asked and I said, others agreed, but then followed by 1 bumlicking waste of space stirring it, and the bigname putting a status not based on facts just to make me look stupid.
Bignames as such in hardcore are earning big cash (certainly more than the average wage) for their "professional" work. The are professionals of this scene just like theres professionals of the pop/rock/general dance scene and theres professional football players and whatnot.
However just because they are slated, slagged off or disliked it makes them look like an idiot if they respond. Look at all the beiber hate... and has he turned round and said "fk you lot...pricks" ?
They should walk away from disagreements instead of sulking and moaning at people, if someone slated their cd as crap they know full well someone else will buy it, instead of having a go at that person.
all i can say is

To be fair to Darren though, he never takes the bait for "haters" and just ignores them. He's a very decent and genuine person in real life and even himself admitted on Kool FM that after Skydivin' he wondered if he "Lost his way a bit" for going more commercial and said no when the record company wanted another release just like Skydivin' straight afterwards, I don't think he'd want to sell out even if he had the chance. He's just someone who was popular enough to get big really.
I don't honestly think there are any corporate demons etc. in Hardcore really like people make out, there just isn't enough money going around the scene to be as bad as the top 40 music industry is. I think if Hardcore is money-grabbing in any way, it's more in the fact that they'll copy more popular genres of music to bring in some more cash but really that's never an effective way of making loads of money either so they'll probably learn that the hard way.
The most commercial exposure hardcore has is with Clubland, and even then...Clubland is no Hed Kandi or Ministry of Sound or MTV etc. it's big, but it's not huge enough to really play god with the genre...I think the reason why Clubland X-Treme Hardcore etc. dictates so much of our scene is simply because the smaller labels struggle to survive and often aren't supported as much.
If you read between the lines a bit, you'll see Gammer, Breeze...everyone saying "Hardcore isn't dead, there's still the older hardcore being produced" maybe I'm reading the situation wrong, but I see that as almost a hint to tell people to look at Hardcore Underground and smaller labels etc.
This post isn't aimed at you Sparkz, it's pretty much a message to everyone. It might be a nice idea that hardcore is being held down by a big evil coporation with loads of money, but realistically I just think they're the producers and DJs who are lucky enough to have stayed afloat, I'm sure they'd welcome more up and coming labels/artists in the scene and more CD series being released...they're hardcore fans just like we are and some of them probably enjoy the Hardcore Underground CDs too, but they aren't going to spoonfeed us so we need to do all we can to push the other labels further.

Do you really believe that? I think its amazing that anyone can make a full time living out of making dance music.

Agreed. This scene has barely enough capital to support anyone other than the top tier DJ's.
Nevertheless when Sy & Unknown live off their music, it makes you wonder why they have to spend time and use Nexus presets all the time now. Lazy.
