I've been listening to a fair bit of 'epic' sounding music recently. Most of the odd bits have been scores from films. I watched Inception for the fourth time the other day, and the soundtrack is just magnificent.
Got a good group of regularly posting producers on here now. Who reckons they fancy having a stab at a trying to create a track based around this epic piece of music - if you want to, that is - I'm not offering any cash or anything lol. I reckon it might entice a couple of people. Doesn't necessarily have to be Freeform, but the gradual, building nature of Freeform kind of lends itself to this piece.
Here's the piece I'm talking about:
Here's an example of how epic music can be successfully incorporated into a Freeform tune:
Also, I realise that this is quite a topical request, given yesterday's Sampling thread.

I don't know what the name of the original song from Inception was called, but someone should do a track using this sample.

HAHA... well to be honest, if that tune gets made in Dys7's version, it won't exactyl sound much different from the freeformy stuff Gammer used to make. It still sounds bloody great, but the epic sound would be lost. An epic tune would need a long breakdown that sounds almost like a battle and and builds up, kinda like Frantic - 2nd Dimension or something
