If you're a lazy arse, skip to 8 minutes. If you're not watch the whole thing. 8 mins + can be easily referred to the hardcore scene and all the shit going on at the minute, the rest makes perfect sense anyway.
Hoodzie posted this on his Facebook before and I watched it... This guy is voicing my EXACT thoughts (you just gotta apply it to the hardcore scene instead of dubstep).
I'd elaborate on what he's saying and everything but if you've watched the video by now, there's really nothing more I can say! All of this bollocks going on at the moment is unnecessary. I understand voicing your opinion of your likes and dislikes but there's a line. If a producer is continuously producing something, it clearly means they like it and you're doing nothing constructive by complaining and causing arguments after that point.
I don't like all this dubshite, but those top-tier producers making it have full right to! Yeah I'm seriously disappointed, and I'm hoping it will pass but if it doesn't, fine! More producers will come in and take their place. If this happens then that'd be perfect, all of the top-tier producers are getting on a bit, they've been doing it nearly 20 years, other producers need that status, and it might just mean everyone who liked pre-dubshite hardcore will go searching for more producers.
I know I'm starting to waffle now but hopefully you see my point, there's no point in these petty arguments, it's slowly causing a large split in the hardcore scene and it REALLY doesn't need that.

it's already been posted here... today. I haven't listen to it all, but I can say it's not about Hardcore, even tho what he says can be applied to Hardcore. Not all electronic music is a small scene, just because americans like Rap & Country more

There'll only be a split if some producers deliberately make that move, nothing the listeners say will make one bit of difference. Those that make the music have every right to do exactly as they please and whether i agree or not i'd never try and change that.
Was going to mention Breeze's interview for ILHB but not going to open that can of worms again!

what I really can't stand, is how USERS, on youtube keep CUTTING and CHOPPING THEIR videos so THAT ull the sentences HAVE NO PAUSES, its not cool, TS annoying.
back on topic, that guy sounds pretty angry, he must have been really insulted by someone to have that much passion about it. I didn't know people still got hot and bothered about the vinyl vs whatever thing.

Just read the interview. Basically a pretty decent interview. The "How can just a few of us change the direction of the music?" comments - he's either a) bull-shitting, or b) incredibly fcuking naive. He's Breeze, for fcuk sake - he's not some small-time producer. Whatever he decides to do is going to have huge implications. How he can't see that I don't know.
Obviously his moody-forum-children comments aren't going to go down too well on here. Tempted to get a t-shirt made up for I Love Hard Beats. "I Have No Life" on the front. "Moody Forum Child" on the back.
I have a colossal amount of respect for the music that the man has produced up until 2011, and he may be a totally different person to sit down and have a beer with - but on the evidence from over the last year or two (his comments on facebook etc) - the man's a total bell-end.

not to bring it back to that subject - but isn't the forum children thing down to the closure of USH.net, everyone from ush just decided to start posting directly on the artists fan pages instead of on USH?
*shrugs* - I just don't think there are that many moody forum people on here..
and the ones that are on here arent really whinging for no reason..or being unreasonable (or unfair, most give more than enough credit where credits due).
maybe I have too much of a positive view on the members on here? you bastards.

The guy's right, but to support the commercial direction fuels the continuation of it. They wont produce what people wont buy. I imagine if Hardcore Xtreme 8 flops they'll either take a step back or accelaerate soem development in the style. Cant be much worse than what we have already,
