I just saw the trailer for this game: IT LOOKS BADASS. It blows 5 out of the water, and Raccoon City isn't even a Resident Evil game as far as I'm concerned. It's SOCOM: Raccoon City.
The graphics look amazing, the fighting system looks like it's actually up to date.. Using cover, what a ground breaking concept. The melee looks revamped, along with the shooting, except where Leon is aiming. I'm assuming they're going to allow various control schemes like they did for RE:4 HD release.

This looks awesome! I loved resident evil 4 and 5 was pretty good as well. It looks like theyre actually adding a lot more to this resident evil as opposed to 5. Also is this coming out for 360 like re5 did? If so now I have another game to look forward to this year other than Halo 4

No information is out at the moment, but I'm guessing it will be. See no real reason why they wouldn't release it for both platforms.

Good point, I mean they even added Code Veronica X and Re4 to the xbox live marketplace.

This game looks so amazing, I heard about it lastnight actually. The new Final fantasy looks epic too, I'm for sure getting bolth at some point.

It looks pretty good. I've not played a console version for years though because I didn't like the action route they went down. The first game was so much better than any of the others I played. I enjoyed the spooky, slow paced gameplay personally.

Have these resident evil games followed the same kind of format from the days of the original Xbox? PS 2 days?
I was out off back then as didn't like walking through a door then having to wait for the game to load every time but if it's more like a normal 3rd person shooter then I may look at the others before 6

That formula got changed from 4 on, though it's not much of a problem later on in the games before 4.

Liked the resident evil games meself but think i only ever played the first 2, good games but they were pretty hard to finish, don't think i clocked either 1 lol but did get pretty far in them
