How do you find out about raves in like local areas? I always seem to find out about them after they happen , i know youre gonna say ask people in the know but its hard to find those people where i live. Do any of you know any other way (websites, magasines etc) that i can find out where and when raves are? Thanks all

after every rave i go to, i take all the flyers off my windscreen and toss 'em in my boot. then, when i have a free weekend, i pop that boot and dive in searching for a party that's being held that weekend. not exactly an efficient system, but it fulfills my occasional need to stick my head deep into a pile of glossy cardboard and rifle around with my ass in the air and my legs flailing around like runaway garden hoses.

theres also the bag boys ppl that hand out flyers at the end of every rave

^^ see, I don't get that - you've just spent the last 8 hours of your life in a rave, listening to extraordinarily loud music pounding through your lungs, dancing to fast, repetitive beats until you're soaked in your own sweat, and you reek of that unique stench that only a rave can synthesise. You look, smell, and feel like s***. I think it's safe to say that the LAST thing you'd be thinking about is doing it all over, again.

The way I usually find out is pretty simple really:
You know all those people that you make friends with? Swap mobile numbers and they just call you and want to meet up. Couldn't be easier

^^ I don't like walking out of a party when I have even an ounce of partying left in me. I either (1) stumble out like a zombie, not caring whether I go or stay, or (2) walk out *relieved* to get my ass outta there.

yes, by y does one of us always take the bags with the flyers ... no matter what condition we r in ... and then read them in the park afterwards

I would also like to know how you go about finding out what raves are happening and where. I have found various websites with loadsa stuff but unfortunatly I'm only 16 so I can't attend any of um, although I do look older than I am but I don't want 2 travell all the way 2 a rave 2 get ID'd. Are there any under 18 events at all in the uk?

trust me i'm 19 but look 15 and i never have problems getting into a rave. usually as long as you got a ticket they won't mind

i always pick the flyers up when i got 2 the record shops. theres raves on every week in the north east so u just turn up and hav a gud night.
