I went to Defqon1 last year, and despite it not being sunny, it was one of the 5 best days I've ever had in my life. A really great experience. It was great seeing Kutski play a hardstyle set on the main stage; usually he plays hard trance. Definitely wish I could have seen this set though.. it looks hype.

Me and a friend have tickets to go again this year, so here's hoping it's sunny this time. It wasn't really raining per se (except for the first hour), but still, after seeing all the videos of nice sunny days at the beaches, it sucked to have it cloudy out.

edit - Don't know what that guy on the first page is saying.. there was easily 60, 70,000 people at last year's event.

And yes, the dutch women were all fine as hell.

Defqon is top of my list. Failing that, I NEEED to experience a Thunderdome :)

If you haven't gone yet you should pretty much go buy a ticket now. It was only like 100 euros, which, for a 12 hour festival like this, is insanely cheap. Rock The Bells tickets are well over 300$. You wont regret it, I can guarantee that.

And I definitely co-sign needing to go to a Thunderdome. The gabber stage at Defqon1 was by far the hypest crowd (besides the main hardstyle stage) so I can just imagine what Thunderdome would be like.

@Skidzorz

Are we even talking about the same festival? The video is from 2010, not last year. And last year there were 45.000 visitors, the location could handle more visitors but it was the first time Q-dance organised a festival at that location so they didnt get permission for more visitors.

Tickets for Defqon 2012 are available from march 24, or this tuesday if you got a special code from qdance. I hope you dont get screwed if you already bought a ticket.

If there's anything that he Dutch know how to do, it's that they definitely know how to gather for large music events! Seeing that reminds me of this video of Ray & Anita (formerly 2 Unlimited) performing at the radio 538 Queens day concert in 2009

@latininxtc

I was there! 200.000 at the museumplein in Amsterdam. Too bad the major of Amsterdam decided he doesn't want a party like that this Queensday because they can't garantee the safety with that many people.
