I don't know how many of you care for this, but you all have probably noticed that I have mixed a few (or alot, depending on how much you want to hear :P) Japanese Hardcore songs, especially by DJ Sharpnel. For those who like it have probably noticed how anime-ish all the track sounds. Well it's kinda obvious when you read a list of Covers the Sharpnelsound crew have made. I used to have a small text file containing some info of it, but it's lost somwhere among my old harddrives that are collecting dust, so I thought, "why not google it?". So I did and I found this massive list. I also made a text document containing the info I prefer to keep.

Anyways, here's the links;

Original list
My list (txt).

While I'm on topic, I know how whispering thinks of Japanese Hardcore (I was doing some topic digging to see if someone else have made a simular thread before). But what do you others thinks?

I love J-Core, a lot of it represents the style that I loved when I first became Hardcore.

until recently the only none-japanese I've seen producing j-core styled Happy Hardcore has been JAKAZiD, except a few odd ones here and there from time to time. Now we got the likes of Helblinde and TANUKI (?) producing it :)

I used to think his name was "DJ 'SHRAPNEL'?? or is that just a spelling mistake off a tracklisting of his tracks..??

it's a very easy typo to make, unless you googled it and google changed it, as sharpnel isn't a english word, but shrapnel (grenade) is. Or maybe they (as DJ Sharpnel is 2 persons :P) changed their name to Shrapnel for a tune or 2.

My favorite track from Shrapnel (sharpnel? I always was confused as I have seen it both ways) was Dokudenpa, heard it on stepmania in 06 07.
I fell in love with the breakbeats and glitchy vocals.
Also Samination, major props I heard your let me fix this mix on DI and was like wuttt.

never heard of that song until today. Sounds like a dutch version of "OMG - The Outlook" with a little twist of Scott Brown :P
