Freeform can be anything, that's why it's 'Free'form. Anything that doesn't fit into standard Hardcore. Almost all Freeform ever produced has been melodic apart from the darker stuff. Unless by melodic you (they) mean pop music at Hardcore speed as with most UK Hardcore, but then that's just an incorrect definition anyway so who cares.
