SCOTTISH RAVERS
Hi there, to all the scottish ravers (or to all of u out there that just loved our scene) It was a sad day when our scene died out, but slowly but surely our scene is kicking off again. Loads of people have gone there own way now, leaving not as many die hards who will always support or scene, we are trying to start off our own clubbing family up here, got no one to got to those events with? simply becayse your mates are no longer into that scene well hook up with similar minded people on www.tomdj.co.uk where i can truthfully say I have met some top peeps and gave me back my raving social life. All our forum members intend getting together, meeting each other and friends of members too, at our xmas bash! for details go on the site, or contct me at [email protected] or [email protected] . Ive always got someone to talk to about our scene or just for a friendly chat about nothing, with people who know where Im coming from. So check us out,and if u like wot u see get registered!

Yeah, here in Aberdeen, the scene is dead, there is no where to buy vinyl and hardly and CD's or tape packs anymore.
and no one cares, i try to keep it real, and i allways try to promote hardcore in my area, people are just too interested in hard house, there just sheep, they all do the same thing, maybe we are better off with out them. there all just fake people.
I am gonna email you about this even if you dont see this post.

there are much less ravers now because 'new genres' of music are released. but as with all so called 'out of date' things it will shine again when the 'new genres' dies out. what i am trying to say is let time decide. I am already doing what i can to promote all types of hardecore and rave (especially Bonkers') by organising street raves. but you cant force people to like your music. one good sign is that people turn up every time and any street rave i have now is open to any1 and every1. It would be great to attract people from all over scotland but winter and christmas are near so all raves are finished. I might continue them on request. what i would like to see would be more rave-based nightclubs. I am only 16 and i cant live withought rave and hardcore. AM HOOKED...

I dont think ur getting my point all I wa strying to say is Hi, we are here, and happy to help u hook up with like minded people, just because we know that not everyone likes this tuff anymore, and its nice to know others share ur interests, to be able to chat to them, or maybe hook up, in the name of keeping the scene alive. Good for you that u like hardcore, however I am not interested in getting into long winded conversations with 16 yr olds about a topic which they can never understand the way I do, u see I was raving when u were still at nursery. So perhaps its best to leave it at that!
For all u people who are interested in some down to earth unpretentious chat u know where i am get in touch. Music snobs etc need not bother.

ps Im sure the boys at Streetrave will be very shocked to hear that a 16 yr old is running there company! as for xmas measning that there wont be much happening in scotland, open ur eyes, cos u must be in another planet, the scene is rockin! metro, Archaos, Fubar,Majestics and loads of other places are all gearing up for a very busy xmas (playing happy hordcore and old skool) so Im afraid ur just talking complete and utter shite!

i go up glasgow all the time coz i got family there,i went up just after bonkers 3 was released and everyone was wild about it! next time i go up,some 6 months later, they all went off it and listened to other stuff :( i'd love to go back up there and see everyone listening to bonkers again, that would make my day, and i'm sure it's happening but i'm just not there to see it

It sure is happening, the promoters and artists are working non stop to give us an event to go to at least once a week, if you visit www.tomdj.co.uk you will see the events posted on the site as they are confirmed. It is difficult for myself and the other moderators to keep up to date with every event not only in Scotland but also down South as well, thats why we want people from all over to join our big happy family at www.tomdj.co.uk to let us know any events thats on that we dont know about, what your views are on the topics posted in the site and anything else you really want to chat about.
I have been in the scene for a long time and promoted, sang, danced and worked with many people, but my story is like kateybaby's all my mates have moved on, got married, had kids, moved away or dead and I seem to be the only one from all of us thats still into all this music with exceptions to the people i worked with, and I went into www.tomdj.co.uk and have met brilliant people, met up with them and one or two of them are now the best mates a girl could ever have, so what are you all waiting for?
