To add further contrast to the suggestions, i think Masters Of Hardcore is something good to go for although it's more of an artist album than anything but good if you like the artists in question:

Interesting! I didnt know there was also a Masters of HAPPY Hardcore...I only know the MOH Gabba series

Next Generation and Blatant Beats albums are fantastic too! Can't remember the dates of them but at least a couple of them fit the time frame.

highly recommend snerklers mixes, he's posted some superb ones on here in the past; proper old skool, perfect mixing and scratching! will be downloading these tomorrow at work to listen to! :)
